The Grand Young Duke of York
Hired helicopters, he
Cos British Rail don't run their trains
On time from A to B
thousands he did spend
in one year set a trend
Went to Wycombe,and to Oxford
It be nice to be his friend
The Auditors, said okay
Buck Palace turned away
The Duke of York why should he walk
When the Public Purse can pay

(sing it to yourself quietly
you know the song)
