| Michael was a Klepto and he drove his poor mum spare
She was always looking for things that were never there For Michael would have found them, and filed them all away He had boxes full of everything he'd found along the way If she lost one of her earrings the positive thing here Was she didn't have to hunt all through the house for it was clear Michael would have found it and filed it under bling Michael loved his indexing and just filed everything In a previous life he must have been a Jackdaw Who knows his room was jam packed full of things It all began when Michael was a baby he'd pick up leaves and then moved on to rings! The screwdrivers those small ones for your spectacles The ones of course you only thought you had Well Micheal had a pouch of various sizes And a back up journal given to him by Dad Whatever, thats our Michael in a nutshell A Kleptomaniac and still so young He didn't take these traits from off his father or me whoever therefore is unsung I'd never ever heard of Kleptomania that was until Our Michael came along But now even the Police have used his services and its very seldom that our Michael's wrong It really brought it home on a Caribbean Cruise Michael then, was only about 4 We were startled one day seeing him playing, with what looked like Bling upon the cabin floor remember Dad said is this your brooch darling I do not recognize it I would add And of course it wasn't bling, it was,the real thing! A diamond of 2 carats that he had A reward, was posted and the crew and guests looked everywhere it was a massive 20,000 pounds And our Michael had found it Goodness knows where he had found it but for him no where seemed actually out of bounds! We explained our child had found it but she paid us just the same The woman happy just to get it back So that was really where our Michael got his claim to fame and since then he has just improved his knack (I woke up this morning and I had been dreaming loosely about this so I quickly set to work to make it all rhyme) |
