Its raining

Its raining!
And if you're out in this
you've had it
Cats and Dogs
your joking not at all
This is closer to
Hippo's and Elephants
See Jee Suor's garden
Waterlogged, the fall

Is massive, in what
is just a few short minutes
Her grass is now
a lake for all to see
Umbella's wouldn't make
a bit of difference
this is how it rains here
actually!

And the best place is to
sit here on the patio
And watch the poor souls
Caught in it off guard
Soaked right through
Like drowned rats
its seems hard

To walk along
but of course
a bit of fodder
for the bard
Who'll make a poem
out of next to nothing
A rainstorm,
and its over for the day
The sky is brightening
The wind has dropped
its over Oh! no its not
its coming back this way!

A bird or 2 are carolling
a rounda bout, heralding an onslaught
it appears
The Palms are rustling silently
The longgan stands defiantly
withstanding upward thrusts
the sky now clears

Its noticeably quieter
The concrete tiles shine whiter
The storm has passed
The swallows start to fly
Thunder though is rumbing
The rain again starts tumbling
As more dark clouds appear
high in the sky
