Spidermans Apprentice

Spidermans apprentice that is Jamie
He wears the tea-shirt
with a lot of pride
He isn't scared of spiders
those, 8 legged
creatures
He's little
but he takes them
in his stride

His Daddy doesn't like them
But he saw some
great big hairy spiders
in the zoo
Jamie's the apprentice
to young spider man
and wishes he could fly
on silk webs too

Jamie likes to eat
corn tricolore
he comes and buys
it at the Cooks Delight
he likes to suck that sour
sweet that ends up sweet
and always looks and acts
so very bright

His mother is
a kindly caring person
she always has
a happy word to say
Spiders often get harsh
treament so I've heard
But Jamie seems to
love them more each day
