| A red coronet with rubies That sparkled just like fire Worn by Princess Nadine Who lives in Hertfordshire She has this gorgeous garden With loads and loads of trees Mulberry, Loganberry, and even Fairy Peas Of course great crunchy apples And oranges so sweet Date palms, a green coconut So very hard to beat With water cool and satisfying Magic I’ve heard tell And the fairies do look after The garden very well They water it with purest dew And wrap cool leaves around The branches of the tallest trees That grow out of the ground They harvest sunbeams Solar power, that helps the blossoms set Attracting many busy bees And are clearly in their debt For they do bring myriad pollen grains From many distant parts And the trees grow tall Above the wall And into peoples hearts In Pricesss Nadines Garden The Fairy Princes try To compost and to water And to nurture which is why The garden and the orchard Are beautiful to see And the fruits are in abundance As sweet as sweet can be Tahlia a princess too A sister of Nadine Sprinkled magic moonbeams And a big tomato green Erupted, it was awesome It grew and grew and grew Turning orange then bright red For that’s what, Tomato’s do Wally the green woodpecker And Ravi the red kite Often came a calling Almost every night And Fred the Fox And Harry the hedgehog Often ate The berries if they fell down And that was where we met Bobby he was black and white And very very strong A Badger with his wife Matilda who was never wrong And flocks of Bats would flap about And pick off insects that Tried to eat the lovely fruit Now what do you think of that? In the, princesses garden Everything was fine The sun came out It some times rained But I was in no doubt The garden it was magical Attracting Fairy folk Who worked to make it beautiful They performed that masterstroke The garden is just paradise Flowers and fruits and trees Lots of lovely butterflies And swarms of friendly bees Animals and insects Birds and fairies too Share the lovely vista And now friends so can you ( story about 2 girls who came into the shop yesterday With their Daddy) |
