Of little Red Riding Hood Long before Miss Libby Ever understood The stories of the big bad wolf But now of course she does And hearing all about it Gives her quite a buzz (So what I'll do this evening is bring it up to date) Libby, little Libby Is probably about the same Age as Dear Miss Riding Hood With just another name Lets say her Dear Grandmother Lives in Ashridge, she Has a cottage painted white Where the bluebells be Libby little Libby decided she would go And visit her grandmother with some apples she did grow In her little garden with some Lettuce and some cress But she hadn't got more than 1/4 of a mile it could be less When out from a dark thicket This wolf said "Hi Libby" Where dear are you going? To see my grand mummy And where pray does she live dear? The wolf to her did say She lives in Bluebell valley Just across the way Pick some flowers here Libby The wolf said, over there There's cowslips and there's primroses loads of them to spare And as our little Libby picked them one by one The wolf went off to Grandma's place Oh! what had Libby done! Of course you know that story I must say its quite grimm What he did to Gran mama Really on a whim So I must change the story Cos little Libby had A mobile phone and rang ahead which for our wolf was bad For when he knocked upon her door Expecting for to scoff She fired a shotgun at him and so she saw him off When little Libby did arrive Her grandmama was there And the apples and the lettuces and the cress they both did share ( hope you like the story Libby you are the hero thanks for coming to buy goodies from Cooks Delight today) |
