Climbing Ben Nevis
Rex Tyler, 29.06.2008 · Printable version

Some friends of mine climbed beautiful Ben Nevis
4000 or so feet above the sea
Up the winding paths their muscles crying out
Begging for some respite constantly
That is when the Human Spirit kicks in
willpower then takes over and we know
The power grow as the climb gets even steeper
Thats of course The man from Gutersloh
His lady like a whippet sleek and handsome
At the summit it is blizzard falling snow
They eat a sandwich with the mist descending
And back they come a half a day to go
31/2 hours struggling to get there
31/2 hours struggling to come back
The man from Gutersloh
Is the greatest bloke to know
He's got everything that I now lack
