Heavens Door

Blue pyjamas on the floor
Who is knocking
on Heaven's door?
It could be me
Turn up the bass
Canberra.......... look at that face
In that dress
a vision she
a Quichua girl
whose wild and free
Hear my heart
Its beating fast
Oh God that jet
Its awesome blast
She's leaving Quito
She will soon
Be up there
closer to the moon

Blue pyjamas on the floor
She is knocking on
Heavens door
Over the oceans
she will fly
and touch down
as a man asks why
Who is he?
He is on his knees
His short hair
flying in the breeze
Who is he?
Nobody can say
But I'm sure
He loves her anyway
