Logging and mining

to this terrible toll
from the greatest of apes

We're wild because humans just don't
seem to care
about them our specials
So most arn't aware
We even exist
they couldn't care
its selfishness like awesome wild fires
I stress
the challenge, is daunting
Orangutan's too
Bonobo's and Chimpanzee's
looking at you
the so called intelligent species
and cry
Save yourselves, then save us
or the Planet will die
