Cornerstone's Charter Dinner
Where nobody got any thinner
The food was really tasty
and good memories were made

Teresa came from District
A Governor whose passion
For Toastmasters was evident
Fashion and compassion

Jonathan our VPE
gave the introduction
Set the scene
and helped us glean
some spontaneous combustion

Gayna, Paul and Company
had used their magic wand
And Clearly waved it many times
and had truly formed a bond

Paul was S and A and TME
and didn't he
Do it well for it all did gel
He did it masterfully

Up stepped Bob some humour
For the Public Speakers who
Hadn't yet joined Toastmasters
With some Pointers on what to do

A big flash tie was one idea
And plan things out for sure
Bob of course larger than life
Left us wanting more

Graham Frost was next up
With his lady from afar
Where the men wear kilts
and no underpants
and where dirks and sporrans are

From Dundee she came
Cake, yea the same
From the ether she appeared
With a great big case
Clearly did chase
Our man who thought it weird

A box of various curio's
a picture of Dundee
A nodding Dog some candles
it was sad but still funny

James McGinty Ego man
His accent we love so
His correlation between the CC and his Driving Test
Brought hysterics, which as time went on did grow

As Jester's go He's pretty blooming special
Word for word, and a climax at the end
Cornerstone's is proud, I mean he drives across from Harwich
To call this ego man the speakers friend

Rex introduced Teresa
with his mouse and eagle tale
Teresa then related her conquests
with a male

which turned out to be someone
all of us did know
T. master was the lucky guy
and how true love did grow

Andrew Brammer gave the Toast
eloquently, with fun
Self deprecating humour
And oratory, to stun

Janet Graham introduced
Val Swanborough did it too
Trish performed the oracle
They all knew just what to do

And Rob told us a story
About him and Gayna, Ah!
Nod nod wink wink lets say no more
Rob Snow is a star!

Cornerstone was chartered
In really quick quick time
From a vision to reality
Khai Eng, managed the climb

Jenny wrapped it all up well
With a gentle enough end
Thanks to Jenny very much
From Cornerstone's your friend

The evening was tumultuous
Laughter all the way
To all the guests and to all of you
All that's left to say

Is thanks for supporting Cornerstones
Advanced Club and it was so nice to enjoy your company

We hope to see you again soon
