| We've swum in the ocean for aeons
Watched your development, We Saw that you went down the nuclear road And are shocked by the deaths in Taiji Sonar its we, who know sonar And you with your weapons of war And the japanese Nation seems filled with elation At harming us for evermore. Innocence, playful and kindly They are the qualities, we Expound in our lives yes of freedom In the bounteous depths of the sea Where your horrible chemical toxins That you tip off your ships everyday And that oil you allow to impregnate us all For once down here, its going to stay You may live in your mansions of money And look up at the greatest blue sky You may think you can plunder and not hear the thunder Thats coming for you which is why We beach ourselves trying to warn you Something is so very wrong The cetaceans are really the angels Communicating with their song But alas your too base for the message Machines seem to rule your new world There are a few sensitive humans But for the most part you seem hurled In to the seine nets the dredgers great chains And the corals and sea life and, we The dolphins we die from the hooks and the gaffes, and of course the great toxicity A whole raft of chemical run offs Its hellish to live in the sea And the cove at Taiji is no place to be It runs red with our blood now daily What gruesome desires these people possess Trapping us with that stressed sound And seeing our breathren suffering stress Cut to ribbons and just left to drowned Well there's no way that we'd leave our family We are sentients more so than you Who could cut us to size and laugh at our cries That apparently is what they do Decapitated with machete's of steel in front of school children and how do they feel? do they go home and say Mum, do you know, what I saw a dolphin a beautiful soul on the floor up in front of me What does she say Its alright dear they are mammals, okay Don't waste your tears They cannot feel pain And they have no fears So dont cry again Or does she say Dear Child I'm so sorry you Witnessed Today What some fishermen do The death of a sea angel Whose soul now flies Up in the blue the bluest of skies Try to remember to pray for their soul We'll pray Ric O Barry can soon get control And the sea shepherd Pirates they are on the case More volunteers join and the whole human race Is on to it we will save them dear child Save the sea angels who live in the wild.
