We've missed our friends the Otters for some decades
They cleared off to more virgin climes where we
Humans didn't run about disturbing them
Environmental Heaven obviously
The Environment Agency and certain others have concentrated on the riverbanks
And now in pristine hollows
they've re-surfaced
And in a nutshell we must offer thanks
Wild otters living freely in
Our watermeadows do
Offer such a future to the likes of me and you
