Picnic in Smith Square 24.7.02

The people came to Smith Square
Peaceably they came
GMFoods was in their hearts
DEFRA felt the flame
Burning, we are innocent
People but aware
Our children clad
In Bee suits
Were buzzing everywhere
Placards, Posters Flags
And Bunting all our spirits high
Global GM Consciousness
Seemingly did fly
We think that Blair and Beckett
Are really out of tune
With the people
And we're hopeful
That they will change now soon
GM Food we brought it
And left it at your door
We were met by Lucian Hudson
DEFRA's Director
Pipers did accompany us
We had a grand old time
Our message we delivered
Its recorded by this rhyme
