Northern France

The villages of Northern France
Have everything
Uniquely beautiful in many ways
Lovely floral baskets, filled with
myriads of posies
and really lovely picturesque displays

Peacefulness thats real
Its not some film set
Its an organic glimpse of rural France
Each Gothic style cathedral
with its venerable look
The sparkling stream
The trout that leaps
a truly babbling brook

The gentle waving willows
An artist cannot hope
To capture all this naturalness
Its far beyond their scope
Croissant's on the table
The Cockerel at the door
Breathe in the floral freshness
Like you never have before

The intake automatic
a'sucking in of air
all the joys of farming
I bet you wish you were there
Fields of waving grasses
Rolled up in great big wheels
Artistry its everywhere
Yes! Northern France APPEALS!

(Just returned via the tunnel
from Northern France)
