Enotsstip is a magic plale
A world that's good and green
Which is the home of pixie tribes
Who guard their fairy queen
Bunny rabbits live there too
And in her palace play
Along with peacock butterflies
That while away each day
On the hills around abou
Badger soldiers sit
Furry coats of black and white
Need jumpers warm and thick
When Jack Frost comes a calling
His breath is often white
He turns their tears to icicles
He can do that on sight
So of course it is important
That Badgers do remain
Safely guarding Enotsstip
The fairy queen's domain
Stretching out before me
I see blue toadstools where
Ladybirds come dancing
And wood lice kneel in prayer
A magic world of fantasy
Is not so far away
Across the yellow cornfields
Then turn left for half day
And that is where queen Catherine
Done live and is guarded by
Frogs that leap through grass reeds
And jackdaws that do fly
For there she rules her kingdom
With lots of love and care
Growing food organically
And selling all thats spare

This story was written for Georgina
on 12/12/1996 and of course is Pitstone spelt backwards a town that was going to be destroyed by
building a land fill site there
Thankfully it never happened
as the then Environmental Minister
Mr Gummer refused the planning apllication
