The Bluebells of Ashridge Forest

a cerulean cyanosed carpet
that sweeps the woodlands well
Ashridge has the History
And the local people tell
of, unbelievable blueness
of every shade come true
From turquoise through to sapphire
and all shimmer with the dew
outstanding waves of splendour
criss cross the forest view
a kaleidescope of colour
romantic through and through.
